Hi, I'm Danny Ielpo!
a photographer based in Milan specializing in travel and motorsport.
What drives my work is a genuine curiosity for the world and the people in it. I look for the moments that happen between the planned ones, the ones you can't direct or repeat. That's where the real images are.
In travel, I've worked on the ground with international organizations focused on sustainability and cultural storytelling. I partnered with Tromsø Lapland to document Sami culture in Norway, with the story featured in Latitudes magazine, contributed visual content to the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand animal sanctuary and the Elephant Valley Project elephant sanctuary in Cambodia, and collaborated with Tamarind Restaurant in Luang Prabang on a project around local culinary tradition.
In motorsport I've covered events from the inside: the 24 Hours of Spa, the GT Open, the CIGT and the Kateyama Track Days. I know how to move in fast and technical environments and bring back images that go beyond speed.
I collaborate with destinations, events and brands that want to tell genuine stories and build real connections with their audience
